Shelly Garlock Hamilton is the wife of Ron Hamilton, widely known as Patch the Pirate. For decades, she has served as administrative producer of the Majesty Music products including the Patch Adventure Series, two hymnals (Majesty and Rejoice Hymns), the Hymnproviser hymnplaying series, and annual choral and keyboard works. She has been the main arranger of all her husband’s original music.
She serves in local church music ministry as a congregational pianist and accompanist and tours the United States with her family and the Majesty Music team; she is a well-known speaker for conferences and ladies’ events. She also enjoys writing daily post devotionals, fun stories, and updates (which can be found on FaceBook and Substack) regarding her new life and ministry following the loss of the husband she loved so dearly. Her role as loving mother and grandmother and her large-scale involvement in the Patch the Pirate Ministry have contributed to her heart for spreading the gospel to sailors young and old—“around the corner, around the world.”
