Here’s how it works:
How do I participate?
- Come and walk with our students and teachers. The cost to walk is $25.
- Sponsor a student to walk a number of miles. The cost is $10/mile and students can walk 1-15 miles
- Sponsor a student with a donation amount of your choice.
Where? Heritage Baptist Church & Academy – 1015 Lowry Ave., Jeannette, PA 15644 – Behind our parking lot we have a beautiful walking area sprawling over 14 acres. Registration tables will be located at the end of the parking lot.
When? Saturday, September 17th from 8AM-12PM. Walk/Run for a mile (15-20 min) or make it a marathon! Registration will remain open until 11PM.
Refreshments & Concessions. Bottled water will be available free of charge. Concessions will be available for purchase.
How do my donations help? Your donations will directly help students and their families pay for their tuition. 50% of all proceeds go specifically to a student/family of your choice. As a small private school we cannot receive federal funding of any kind. Our parents believe in freedom of school choice and an education where the Bible is welcome and taught daily. The other portion of your donations will help us expand our STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) and sports programs. These departments depend on your financial support. How do I sign up? Please use the registration form below to sign-up. Wednesday September 22nd will be the last chance to pre-register online. You may still register in-person on the day of the event.
When is my donation due? You can give online here be sure to choose “Heritage Baptist Academy Donation to School” in the first drop down box. Cash and checks are accepted at registration. If you are sponsoring a student but not walking, you can give your donation to the student/parent, or mail it to:

I already filled out Pledge Card from a student. Do I need to fill out this registration form? No. You only need to fill this out if you are pre-registering online. If you have filled out a Pledge Card from a student, we will collect your information from them. If you are walking, stop by the registration table on the day of the event to get checked in.
Do students need to register? No, however they do need at least one sponsor.
